– ENERGY / BELGIUM –
DEC OGECO is a Belgian company specialized in the distribution of gas and oil. Today, it is present in 7 countries and mainly supplies terminals, LPG manufacturing and bottling plants and pipelines.
DEC OGECO wished to modernize and expand its image at the same pace as its exponential growth in recent years. Between the merger of several of its subsidiaries and its growing internationalization, a complete facelift of their graphic charter and logo quickly became essential.
The final objective was to make this company accessible and coherent through its visual identity while remaining in phase with the image it wishes to convey.
Always considered as a medium-sized structure where proximity is the key word, the CEO insisted on accompanying the creation process himself so that the final result would be faithful to the image that DEC OGECO wishes to convey: accessibility & professionalism.
I designed an ambitious visual identity, allowing DEC OGECO to send a clear and universal message while reflecting the complexity of the energy sector and the strong competition that exists on this market.
A clean but recognizable logo, which remains flexible and adaptable to new challenges and a promising future.
In order to communicate effectively and mark this change, I also developed a complete signage and produced a film presenting the brand, featuring the various DEC OGECO sites around the world. The presentation took place during a trade show in Dubai, giving DEC OGECO additional visibility.
Next challenge: the redesign of the website for a complete harmonization of all supports.
01. BRAND IDENTITY
Creating a strong and unique brand identity is crucial for oil and gas companies looking to differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
To achieve this, I decided to make a complete break from the old lines and take a new graphic turn that was impactful, readable and professional.
Strong colors to mark the dynamism of the team and a stylized representation of the tank sphere to make their visual identity clearly recognizable.

02. MEDIA / PRINT
I redesigned the entire graphic charter with bright colors that affirm DEC OGECO’s desire to stand out from other players in the sector and its ambition to remain a leader. They have acquired a range of printed commercial supports that will allow them to keep an exclusive and unforgettable link with their customers.
Having only visuals on plan or photos, creating dynamic content was crucial to develop their new contract and show their know-how.
That’s why I shot the footage with a drone and a stabilized camera and created a series of videos.
